How To Paint Honeycomb Wall Decor

Are you tired seeing those boring plain color of your wall at home? Then why not change it to an awesome design? If the reason is you don't have any idea then yes I will show one of many color pattern ideas just for you, I'm gonna share how the honeycomb wall decor is done by this pretty simple step.

Honeycomb wall decor design is pretty interesting it looks like a home of honeybees and that's the idea we will copy the image of honeycomb and paint it to the walls.

Things that are needed to this project are just the usual materials you always use when painting your walls.

Here are the things needed,
• Paint
• Paint Brush
• Roller
• Ladder
• Scissors
• Tape
• Ruler
• Marker/Pencil
• Cardboard

In this project in one wall any color combination is possible, like you can add up to 3 color combination its up to you design it.

I think the most time consuming part of that project is the taping process and painting the wall, this two is time consuming so just prepared yourself and be patient.

I'm sure those artistic people surely love this and I'm one of that, if you love art then you will love it. I know you can do it this is pretty easy so just make sure that you put a cover on the floor and all appliances near the wall to lessen the mess.

So are you ready to do this? Well then here's the steps;

Step 1:
First get the cardboard, ruler and pencil and shape like a hexagon, any size you want is okay.

Step 2:
After you finish it just cut it out you only need one hexagonal shape.

Step 3:
Next clean first the wall and get the hexagon cardboard shape you cut out before and place it on the wall and start marking with your pencil.

Step 4:
After you done marking just get your scissor and tape and cut some tapes and just follow what size and shape of your hexagon and just paste the tape on the wall.

Step 5:
Then the next stage is the coloring, get your roller or brush and paint colors. And just start to paint the wall.

Final step:
After you finish painting the wall just wait until its dry. And then just tape off all the tapes you paste before. And your done cheers!

Every houses has a different styles and interior designs but in every house its always have a standard of what is the things or appliances should be seen inside your home.

There are houses that is so big and its a type of a house that you can put many displays and decorations but for an ideal house the things you can put is only limited and because it has a limits then you must only buy the things that are really needed to your house and put them in a right place save up space.

An ideal house is a home of not that very rich and not that poor its on the middle. So let's assume that their house is not that big as mansion and not that too small.

Let's go back from what I said before about the standard set of appliances should be seen inside your house.

Base on my own experience an ideal house has this things;

• Bed
A bed is one of the most important things that should be on your home without it you can't sleep comfortable.

• Air-conditioning/Electric fan
This thing is important specially when the weather temperature is so hot.

• Sofa and chairs
This one is always on the ideal house, this is were we sit comfortably.

• Dining and Coffee Table
This where we place things like mag, pitcher, vase, books, etc. And this thing is important because it is a place where we eat together with family and friends.

• Television and Computer
This gadgets is a must with this generation. This were we entertain ourselves and make some surf on the internet.

• Refrigerator
This thing is very essential needs because it helps us to make some cold water and stocks some foods like meats, fishes, vegetables, and drinks.

• Stove and any cooking materials
This one is most important for me practically, because without it you may starve to death. It can be found at your kitchen this were food is process.

How to make your own version of lampshade

Our topic now is about how to make your own version of lampshade, it means that i'm gonna show how it was done and made every single step.

Lampshades mostly seen near your bed and sometimes at the living room near the sofa. Lampshades are the best alternative to conserve electricity bill at your home like when you're going to sleep at night instead you use the main light at your room you'll just use the lampshade as your light the whole night and by doing that you can help to conserve electricity bill.

There many kinds of lampshades out there at the market there are cheap ones and there are also the most expensive. But if you like to save up some money why not make your own version? trust me its pretty simple.

Here are the materials needed for this project:

• Ring Metal/Wires
• Pliers
• Scissors or Cutter
• Glue
• Fabric or Cardboard
• Bulb
• Bulb Holder
• Electric Wires
• Male Plug
• Switch
• Lamp Stand (You can use metal, wood, bottle, plastic, etc.)

1. First step you need to make a ring for your lamp if your gonna make a round lampshade but you can also make it square shape and its more easy than round. Now you should find some wire metals to do it and if you already have it get your pliers and shape it like a ring or square. However if you have old lampshade rings you use it also. Just make sure there is a place where you can put the bulb holder.

2. Then if you finish the brace of your lampshade, you can now put the fabric or cardboard to cover it up. Just trace it first using the brace and put marks on the fabric or cardboard then cut it out and get the glue and paste it around the brace. You can use any patterns or colors for your shade its up to you.

3. If you are done doing the shade of your lamp then its time to setup the light. For this step you'll need a bulb, electric wires, switch, male plug, and the bulb holder. Just make sure you're familiar or have a little skill about wiring the electric lights if not don't do it by yourself just ask for help somewhere near you or just make some research on the internet on how is the proper wiring. Just don't do it if you don't know it may cause you problems like short circuits at your home. Then if you get what i mean just put it all together and try if its working.

4. Next is the stand of the lamp, there many options in this step you can use metal, wood, bottle, or plastic stand. Or like what just i said before if you have an old lampshade you can get its stand as your stand of your new lamp. Just make sure you can place there your bulb holder.

5. And lastly after you finish all the steps above, you are now going to put it all together as one. Just get the shade you made before and place it on the top of your stand and make sure you put the bulb inside the stand. And your done!

5. On my sample video the wall already have a first coating paint, but if you're just starting I really recommend that you must do the first coating and the color is should be white paint to make your second paint color more brighter and clearer.

6. Well then after you cover up, clean up, tape the corners, and put the first coating finally you can now paint your wall a color of your choice.

7. And lastly when its completely dry and finish just always remember don't forget to clean all your mess.

After we discussed about on how to make your homemade coffee table, and I felt that why not build your own sofa too?

That's why now I'm gonna share something essential furniture on our home which is no other than the sofa. Sofa has a great responsibility on our home specially when your tired at work and can't go to your bed, sofa is the best place to rest and when you have a visitors, sofa is the best and comfortable sit ever. That's why everyone wants this thing.

However sofa has a disadvantage like when your home or apartment is too small and it will cover up a big space, that's why some of the reasons why some houses don't have this and for the record a brand new sofa is expensive and not all people can afford this. Right?

But don't be sad I have a solution for that matter just follow and listen to what I say and I'm pretty sure it will help you lot. So are excited for this new project? If yes then let's begin.

I'm gonna share this trick on how to make your own coffee table from recycled materials, just make sure you will follow all the steps from start to end. 

Like what I said from before you can build your own strong and elegant coffee table from scratch! But I personally recommended that you must copy first the design of the table that I'm gonna show to you to lessen failures. And if you mastered doing this then you can build your own design. Got it?
